Vladimir A. Pilipenko – Deputy Director on Science Development of the State Center “Belmicroanalysis”, JSC “INTEGRAL” – “INTEGRAL” Holding Managing Company, Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Expert in the sphere of solid state physics, micro- and nanoelectronics, engineering.

Born in Jule 18, 1949 in Mozyr of the Gomel region. From 1971 after graduation from the Physics Faculty of the Belarusian State University has been working at JSC “INTEGRAL” where he advanced from an engineer to Deputy Director on Science Development of the State Center “Belmicroanalysis”.

In 1981 he defended a PhD Thesis, in 1990 – D.Sc. Dissertation, in 1995 he was awarded the title of Professor on specialty “Semiconductor Physics”, and in 2000 he was elected a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on specialty “Solid State Physics”.

He published 403 scientific works, including 11 monographs. He possesses 43 Author’s certificates and patents on inventions. For his inventor activities he was distinguished with an honorary sign «Inventor of the USSR». He tutored 6 PhD students who has defended their PhD Thesis.

He is a Laureate of Prizes of the Academies of Sciences of the Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova for the outstanding scientific achievements in pursuing the joint researches with the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine “Phase and Structural Modifications of the Surface Layers and Films in the Technology of Semiconductor Devices and VLSIs» (2011).
