Oleg K. Gusev – Vice-Rector, Professor, Doctor of Science (Engineering). Expert in the field of instrumentation, metrology, physics and technology of condensed matter, microelectronics, sports equipment.
Born in Minsk, March 13th, 1955. He graduated from the Faculty of Radiophysics of the Belarusian State University with a degree in radiophysics and electronics. He is employed in the Belarusian National Technical University (BPI, BSPA) since 1979 as an engineer, junior researcher, senior researcher, head of research laboratory, associate professor, professor, dean of the instrumentation engineering faculty, vice-rector.
Candidate of Science (Ph.D.; Physics and Mathematics, specialty 01.04.10 "Physics of semiconductors and dielectrics"; 1987), D.Sс. (Engineering, specialty 05.11.15 «Metrology and metrological support" and 05.11.13 "Devices and quality monitoring of an environment, substances, materials and products"; 2005).
He published more than 300 papers, 2 books, co-author of 17 patents.
Honorary Member (Academician) of the Metrological Academy of the Russian Federation.
