Aliaksandr M. Malyarevich


Aliaksandr M. Malyarevich – Vice-Rector for Scientific Activity of Belarusian National Technical University, Doctor of Science (Physics and Mathematics), Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Expert in the field of optical spectroscopy of laser materials, development of optoelectronic and laser devices and systems, optics of nanostructures.

Born in 1962 in Minsk city. In 1984 he graduated from the Physics Faculty of the Belarusian State University. Ph.D. (Physics and Mathematics, 1993). D.Sc. (Physics and Mathematics, 2009). Professor (Physics, 1984), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Device Engineering, 2017).

Publication activity: 1 monograph, over 270 papers including 3 review articles and 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 9 patents of the Republic of Belarus and Russia.

1 Ph.D. and 2 master's theses defended under his supervision.

Managed international projects funded by INTAS, Royal Society, UK, TEMPUS Programme. Currently manages IANUS-II Project (Erasmus Mundus Programme).
