Petr V. Kuchynski – Director of A.N. Sevchenko Institute of Applied Physical Problems of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of Science (Physics and Mathematics). Specialist in the field of solid-state electronics, automated measurement systems and specialized information processing systems, information security.

Kuchynski P.V. was born in 1949 in the Minsk region. In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Belarusian State University. In 1984 he defended his PhD thesis, in 1996 he passed a 2-month scientific internship at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Firenze, Italy). In 1999 he defended his D. Sc. dissertation.

From 1971 to 1972 – Junior Researcher of BSU. From 1972 to the present time – Junior Researcher, Senior Researcher, Leading Researcher, Head of Laboratory, Deputy Director for Research, Director of A.N. Sevchenko Institute of Applied Physical Problems of the Belarusian State University.

He has published more than 200 scientific papers, co-author of three collective monographs,  reference book, teaching aid.
